TopSyde was founded by senior WordPress developers who watched cheap hosts and expensive hosts fail the same clients in different ways. We built the host we wanted to hand our own clients. It just works, and it fixes things before you know they were wrong.
Why we started
Two kinds of host.
One person left holding the problem.
Cheap hosting hands you a server and a ticket queue. When a plugin update breaks the site at two in the morning, nobody at the host even notices. Expensive hosting notices, then bills you for the fix, caps your visits and sells the security scan as an add-on. Both leave the same person holding the problem. The business owner, or the developer they pay.
We spent years as that developer. Cleaning up the hacks, chasing the plugin renewals, explaining the overage charge, moving sites off hosts that had quietly stopped caring. So we wrote down what a host should actually do and built it. Your site should just work, and the host should be the one paying attention. That is the whole idea, and it has not changed.
What came out is closer to a care package than a host. One plan replaces the host, the maintenance company and the plugin renewals, and it costs less than most care plans alone. Everything it covers is listed in plain words, and the comparison page puts it next to what you pay now.
How we work
Four things we will not compromise on.
You should never have to think about your host.
A host that needs your attention is a host that is not doing its job. Updates, backups, security, speed and the small fixes should happen before you know they were needed, and the only thing you should notice is that nothing goes wrong.
Everyone you talk to is an expert.
We do not hire salespeople or support specialists. Every person at TopSyde is a developer with ten or more years of WordPress behind them, and the person who picks up the phone is the person who does the work. No tier one, no script, no escalation ladder.
Proactive beats reactive.
Most hosts wait for your ticket. We scan every site every day, patch vulnerable plugins within 24 hours, roll back a bad update on their own and tune SEO and speed every week. A site-down ticket is answered within 15 minutes at any hour.
Bundle everything.
Premium plugin licenses worth $1,000+ a year, an hour of senior developer time every month, eight tools we built ourselves, daily malware removal, no caps on storage, bandwidth or visitors, and a migration done for you. One price, nothing metered. No other host bundles this much, and we have checked.
Built by the people who use it
The best tools are built by the people who need them.
We run our own sites on TopSyde and we run our clients' sites on it, so every rough edge finds us first. The portal, the Sentinel security engine, Auto SEO, Auto Speed, the AI edits and the rest exist because we wanted them for our own work, and the tooling keeps growing for the same reason. When something annoys us, we build the fix and every customer gets it the same week.
That is also why we never add a tier. A tool that is worth building is worth giving to everyone, so every plan has all of it, from one site to hundreds.
