Why people switch

Where TopSyde is ahead

SEO and speed every week

Auto SEO and Auto Speed apply safe fixes weekly with one-click rollback. FatLab lists neither; performance work comes out of dev hours.

An hour for every site

1 hour of developer time a month per site, never pooled, plus 10 AI edits. On FatLab Professional, one hour is shared by all your sites, then $150 an hour.

Tools and licenses included

Two-factor login, cookie consent, form spam, 404s and database cleanup are one switch each, and $1,000+ a year of premium plugin licenses come with the plan.

Frequently asked

TopSyde vs FatLab FAQ

How does TopSyde's price compare with FatLab's?

One site is $89 on TopSyde against $99 on FatLab Starter, which has no developer hours, or $199 on Professional. Every TopSyde site gets weekly Auto SEO and Auto Speed, 10 AI edits a month, eight built-in tools and $1,000+ a year of plugin licenses, none of which FatLab's pricing page lists at any price. On FatLab, ten sites share at most one developer hour a month on Professional; on TopSyde each of the ten gets its own.

Does FatLab include SEO?

FatLab's pricing page doesn't list SEO. Performance optimization is listed as one of the things the included dev hours can be spent on, so it comes out of the same pool as every other change.

How does TopSyde's support compare with FatLab's?

FatLab doesn't publish response times, and a dedicated contact starts on its $349 Business plan. TopSyde puts every customer through to senior developers by call, text or chat, with a site-down ticket answered in 15 minutes, 24/7, an hour of developer time for every site each month and a 99.9% uptime SLA with service credits.

Can I leave FatLab mid-month?

FatLab asks for 30 days' notice to cancel, so plan the move with that in mind. Our migration is free and the old site keeps running until DNS switches, so there's no gap.

Can I move from FatLab to TopSyde without downtime?

Yes. Migration is free: we copy the site to our hosting while the old one keeps running, test forms, logins and checkout, and switch DNS once the copy checks out. Plans are month to month with a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can overlap the two services for a month and cancel the old one when you're satisfied.

Zero risk to switch

We move the site. You keep the 30 days.

Free migration, no contract, and every penny back if it isn't right in the first 30 days.
